Previously, I made even more, but I sold 22 of my lenses….including my BEST ONE!!! Glad to see it’s still doing well, but I’m not the one earning from it now. That’s the thing…once you transfer your lens to a new lensmaster…all earnings go to that lensmaster too!!! Remember that.

Guess it’s about that time to start creating more Squidoo lenses. I think I will create some holiday lenses since Thanksgiving and Christmas are fast approaching.

Good, legitimate mystery shopping companies can be hard to come across, though. I don’t know if this has happened to you, but this is what has happened to me…. I was one of those people who paid a few different web sites for a list of mystery shopping jobs. The end result: I only to ended up with a few good ones. Anyways, hopefully I can save you a bit of time and money by filling you in on my favorite Mystery Shopping Company.

This legit mystery shop service, which sends me shops on a regular basis, is Nationwide Mystery Shopping Services. I have not completed any shops or assignments in awhile (way too busy lately) …but available shops are emailed to me on a regular basis. I like the restaurant jobs.

Apllication details…
Shopper applicants must meet the following basic qualifications:

* You must be 21 years of age or older.
* You must have a reliable transportation.
* You must have good written and verbal communication skills.
* You must be able to focus on and memorize details.
* You must have access to utilize the Internet and have email as part of this position.
* You must have a clear criminal background and work history.

Most people try out for the Generalist position first because it pays more…. from $0.10 - $0.20 per question. However, I am finding that many people are failing the Generalist test. You are not alone!

So, did you fail the chacha guide test to become a Generalist guide? So did I, so don’t feel bad! Hope is not lost. If you fail the Generalist position, you will be able to try out for the Expeditor position which is still very rewarding. While it pays a small $0.02 - $0.04 per question, the money builds up fast.

I actually like the Expeditor position better because you do not have to do the research and answer the questions. Your job is to take a question and reformat it…then place it in a proper category.

The purpose of this post is to give you some hope. Do not give up just because you failed the Generalist test. If you do well as an Expeditor, chances are you could be offered a better position at a later time…one that might pay a little better. So, what are you waiting for…become a chacha guide now!

I have come across a wonderful little tool that allows you to add flash (swf) files to your Squidoo lenses. It does not work with every swf file, but I have found that it works on 99% of the swf files I tried.

Check out ClearSpring.com and start adding flah games and flash movies to your Squidoo lenses to get more visitor participation.

Let me guess … you build Squidoo lenses to drive traffic and boost rankings to your current web sites, correct?

Have you ever thought of creating a Squidoo lens first? I don’t think many people do this. I mean, what better way to find hidden niches right? Squidoo can help you find a niche and build on that niche.

Try experimenting with this. Create a few squidoo lenses (about 10 of them) on different subjects. Market them through submitting to directories, blog commenting, social bookmarking and article marketing. Then sit back and track which ones, if any, are gaining good traffic after a few months. If you found a good niche, build a blog/site on the same subject as the lens. Then create hyperlinks (especially in the first paragraph of the lens) on your lens that lead to the new site you created.

It can be a win win situation…. you could find a good niche, build a great lens, build a great site and earn from all.
